On Tuesday, April 26 a teenager died after a single vehicle accident.
According to Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened at around 6 p.m. on County Road 58 not far from the town of Grant and Kenosha Pass. A pickup truck being driven by 18 year old Alex Bundy was returning from a four wheeling trip when it went off the road and rolled several times. There were three passengers in the car and Bundy along with another passenger was ejected.
A 17 year old died at the scene and Bundy and the other two passengers were taken to Denver area hospitals in serious conditions.
Troopers said that none of the teens were wearing seatbelt but at this time they do not believe speed was a factor in the crash and nor was alcohol. They are still investigating as to why the pickup left the road.
